We have teamed up with Devizes and District Motor Club to recreate the Palladwr Rally for 2025. Worth Birkill will be Clerk of the Course with both Dick Appleton and Keith Edwards as his Deputies. Last run in 2016, the 2025 event will run on the weekend of March 15/16th 2025 and again be part of the HRCR Clubmans Road Rally Championship.
Scrutineering will be on the Saturday with the start around dusk, allowing a couple of hours rallying in the dark. The event will restart on Sunday morning with the finish later that afternoon, early enough for those travelling long distances to get home at a reasonable time.
The first route recce was successfully completed in early June. We intend to utilise some familiar test venues and some less so. The regularity sections will take in the lanes of the Somerset, Dorset and Wiltshire countryside all covered on map 183.
Regulations and entries will be available towards the end of this year.
Janet Edwards will be the Chief Marshal for the event and the call for marshalling assistance will also go out towards the end of the year, so look out for details.
